We are thrilled to announce the birth of The Parchment Paper; a publication written by the chefs and internal team members of The Culinistas. It felt appropriate for the theme of our inaugural issue to be Starters. In The Starter Issue you'll find heartwarming/breaking memories on chef beginnings and starter life forms. You'll find recipes for apps, recipes all about seeds, and recipes that remind you of the start of something beautiful. There are city guides for first timers in Rome and Sunset Park and first lines from our favorite cookbooks.
We’re so excited to share this with you. We want you to read it to help get your mind off of the heavier stuff and to remind you that everything has a beginning, a middle, and an end. The Parchment Paper is available for free, and from now until June 15th we’re giving the option to donate for your copy of the paper, with all proceeds going directly to Rethink Food, an organization whose Covid-19 emergency response efforts include food distribution hubs, turning restaurant kitchens into commissaries, and feeding frontline workers in hospitals. 100% of all donations will go directly to Rethink.
